GTA: Underground (SA/VC/LC/+) Snapshot v4 v4.1 v4.1.1
Gta Underground is a mod that combines the universe of the 3D era on the GTA San Andreas engine and adds all the features from the respective games. In this version you will be able to visit Liberty City (GTA 3), Vice City (GTA VC), Cottonmouth (Manhunt II), Carcer City (Manhunt II), Bullworth (Bully), Mainland Liberty, Dunsfold and Atlantis.
Intro:
A lot has changed since the previous update in July 2019. The authors have gone to great lengths to bring you more content from the 3D Rockstar universe along with user-generated content created by creative and talented team members, from new weapon stats to brand new vehicles. This version will be one of our biggest updates to GTA: Underground.
Update v4.1.1
- Fixed custom object mp_newspaper causing undefined identifier errors from FLA when used;
- Fixed remote player's bike tilt not syncing properly;
- Fixed invalid version connection rejection message not showing when it should (previously showing invalid nickname message);
- Crash information will now be sent to us automatically. This feature can be disabled by editing ugcrashreporter.ini;
- Several improvements/fixes have been made to the UG-MP launcher:
The "Connect to Server" dialog now uses the title "Connect to Server" instead of "Connect to";
- Improved the hostname checking code in the direct connection window - it should now constantly detect invalid hostnames;
- The direct connection window will no longer default to the default port (7777) in cases where it shouldn't be;
- Before starting the game, any leading and trailing spaces in the entered hostname will be removed;
- Fixed an issue where the input bindings in the registration window and the direct connection window would not update until the elements lost focus. This fixes a lot of issues, including the scenario where people report that pressing the ENTER key produces different results than the Connect button (for example, when it incorrectly displays an error message about the hostname entered and/or where it will connect using different hostname than the user intended). However, this change may degrade performance in both windows.
Multiplayer
For now, our biggest addition in this update will be our very own multiplayer client: UG-MP! For those new to the mod, UG-MP is our modification of SA-MP that is fully backward compatible and will include many exclusive features and sources for server developers and players to interact with: Server owners and players will be able to choose from 300+ weapons, 700+ vehicles and a staggering 1200+ skins to personalize their unique servers. Everyone will be able to host their server on UG:MP, but it will also have a whitelist system - a server tab for unique source servers selected by our whitelist committee.
Global weapon work
As we said in our previous point, all 300+ weapons from our previous version have been improved and redone, so each weapon will be unique in its own way. 25 additional melee weapons and firearms have been added, from World War II relics like the MP40 and Luger to modern marvels like the SCAR and FMG9. All weapon statistics have been completely redone. While the vanilla SA weapons have been left intact, all of the added weapons from III, Vice City, Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories have been changed to resemble their original counterparts, while some have been tweaked slightly so they will appear slightly more unique and different. The weapons of Manhunt and Manhunt II have also been changed - many of them had the same attributes and looked the same. With the latest update, these weapons now have different animations and attributes - which means you can either start a duel with two revolvers, or just snobbishly hold it.
After the launch of UG:MP, more unique and interesting weapons will be added, we will continue to work and expand GTA: Underground with more content, and we will closely monitor the community for changes to weapons and changing their characteristics.
Transport additions and fixes:
In GTA: Many of the added vehicles from previous versions were incomplete/buggy/not configured properly, so we've been hard at work fixing all of these known bugs and introducing some brand new vehicles along the way.
Return of the story mode:
The most requested feature by fans has been GTA:SA storyline support in the Underground, and now it's here! As an additional choice, you will be able to play the storyline again with all available GTA: Underground content. Storyline support is not complete and is not yet 100% complete, so we expect to find new bugs as the game progresses.
Installation:
1. First you need to download a clean (no mods) GTA San Andreas.
2. Download GTA: Underground Snapshot v4 from Google drive and move the files from the archive to your GTA San Andreas that you downloaded earlier (we confirm the replacement of files). Multiplayer has already been added to the game.
