You know what's good about GTA V? It has a completely new RAGE game engine, much more modern and functional than RenderWare. Naturally, the developers use it to the fullest, so GTA V is updated with new modifications almost every day, and its gameplay is very flexible and varied. And the player has a lot of ways to influence this process. One of them is a sticky bomb.
Stickybomb. A simple, inexpensive, light, but coupled with this rather funny and powerful weapon, which allows one of its explosions to arrange the most natural massacre on a busy road of some highway (such is the game physics)! And for convenience, the developers wrapped it with tape so that it kindly sticks to everything. Personally, I have always liked this weapon the most.
Now about GTA: San Andreas. Her world for its time is also quite diverse and flexible, but it always seemed to me that the player does not have enough ways to influence it.
Description The stickybomb looks like dynamite (there is such a non-working object in the game), but, unlike it, it is colored green, akin to GTA V (by the way, a more powerful and more expensive sticky dynamite will be released in the future, which will be twice as powerful ). Thanks to my ingenuity, Velcro has learned to stick to everything it touches, whether it be a car, a lamppost, or even some kind of ped (although there is often a noticeable glitch due to which Velcro floats in the air when glued). If the object her sticky molestation, to which it is glued, has disappeared (it happens in old GTA), then it will simply fall and stick to the ground. And if you somehow manage to break it (which is unlikely), then there will be a small explosion, but it will not destroy anything.
Up to 16 sticky bombs can exist in the world at the same time (against 32 for standard ones). If you roll the 17th, the previous one (16th) will disappear.
There is an idea about introducing it into the list of weapons that can be fired from a car. Management The strength of the throw is controlled by the time of pressing the attack key (if you hold it for a long time, CJ will throw it hell knows wherevery far, and a short mouse click will make him throw it right in front of him). All bombs that have appeared in the world (even those that have not even stuck to anything yet) will explode at the same time if the player uses a traditional detonator (it, as in the case of a standard Velcro, is given to the player after each throw, if he has one No).
Individually, these bombs are not very strong (in terms of the force of the explosion they correspond to an ordinary grenade), but their accumulation can literally lift a wheelbarrow into the air. You can see confirmation of my words in the screenshot.
Installing The fact is that my sticky bomb is a completely new weapon that does not replace anything, so my CLEO algorithm is needed for it, which requires the CLEO library. All her behavior is written in my algorithm.
You will also need the Limit Adjuster by fastman92. After all, Velcro is a weapon, it needs its own slot and a standard set of characteristics (you will also need to remove the limit on object models, because a flying bomb is a separate object with its own collision).
All these settings are already in the archive.
Location Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to get Velcro without third-party modifications (originally it was supposed to be possible to buy it in Ammu-nation for $400 apiece). Modification version 0.0 is available for download along with the main version, and allows you to get these bombs in the game by pressing the G key (a pickup truck will appear next to you).
If you are figuring out how to add a new (added) weapon to the list sold in the Ammu-nation (shopping.dat does not accept newlines), you will be happy to help and, thus, bring the modification to mind.
Please do not upload the file anywhere else! It's exclusive to libertycity! Download and enjoy the opportunity to create real chaos in the world of GTA! I did my best.
