Taxi to the mission as in GTA VC 1.2
Another feature from the beloved Vice City, which was very useful for the players. Perhaps this is not what you expected, looking at the name. This is an opportunity to get by taxi to the starting point of some mission in case of failure.
In San Andreas, this feature was replaced by Trip Skip, but I could not resist and added this modification to San Andreas.
Now, if you die during the performance of any task, or you are arrested, then after you appear at the appropriate point (hospital or police station), a taxi will appear near you (on the road or sidewalk), which will kindly give you a lift to the starting point the mission you failed if you sit in it (you won’t be able to steal it). It is highlighted with a marker and will take you to your destination in a couple of seconds (remember how the screen darkened when using it in Vice City?).
Version 1.1
- Improved teleport algorithm.
- Now any task is considered a mission, maybe even your script (if you used $ONMISSION). Previously, it appeared only after the story missions.
- Now the taxi and the driver are indestructible, and the player will be ignored by everyone. The doors are also locked. But if the player tries to start the taxi driver mission or get out, the driver will drop him off.
Version 1.15
- Fixed a bug with incorrect calculation if the player is too far away. Previous versions are no longer supported.
Version 1.2
- Created to eliminate the delay at the very beginning. This was done in connection with the appearance of my new mod. I also fixed a glitch when a taxi might not appear, and also increased its range - now Carl, when pressing the button to get into the vehicle, will first try to enter this bonus taxi. The range is now 15 meters.
- Now the player will not be touched by the cops if he gets into the vehicle.
- Version 1.15 is no longer supported.
