In Vice City, the Maverick cop didn't have the ability to literally blind the player. Therefore, the developers got out of the situation in a different way: Maverick got glare.
In San Andreas, he already completely interferes with the players, blinding them with his spotlight. But with this modification, a small glare will sometimes come from his spotlight, which is undoubtedly pleasing to the eye.
In version 1.01, a check was added to see if a player exists in the game world. This is done to prevent crashes. Version 1.0 is no longer supported.
