10 years ago in space, near the Milky Way, an unusual black hole appeared, after which strange anomalous zones appeared in several places on the planet (USA, Russia, Morocco, Norway, Korea and Brazil), later called Gates. Strange and incomprehensible things happen in these zones: people die or go missing, various objects appear out of nowhere. Many people who have been there go crazy. Humanity fences these zones with walls and evacuates all people who are there, and begins to study these gates. The protagonist is a cruel mercenary, devoid of feelings and emotions, and guided solely by common sense and logic, who is ready to fulfill any order for money. He currently lives in San Andreas, where he works for a mysterious criminal organization whose influence is very large and extends far beyond San Andreas.
