AKS-74 is a Soviet machine gun, developed in the 1970s based on AK-74, but with a shortened folding butt, which makes it more convenient for paratroopers and crews of combat vehicles. It uses 5.45 × 39 mm caliber cartridges and is characterized by high reliability and accuracy of shooting.
