The Walther P99 is a short recoil operated semi-automatic pistol using a modified Browning cam-lock system adapted to the Hi-Power pistol. The P99 has a fiberglass reinforced polymer frame and a steel rail assembly. It can be broken down into its main parts, or the field can be cleared with a fixer without the aid of tools.
