Fully supported versions of GTA V: 1.36, 1.38, 1.39, 1.41, 1.43 Compatible with versions up: 1.44, 1.45, 1.46 (although the mod does not affect the latest DLC cars)
This mod changes the driving physics in GTA 5 to a more realistic one. The physical definitions for each vehicle have been created from scratch using every available option. Development began on May 13, 2015 and took 3 years, 1600+ hours. Driving physics was created for each of the 357 vehicles individually, spending an average of 3.5 hours per vehicle. Every change this mod made was MEASURED IN THE GAME and CONFIRMEDto work properly. Hence the long development phase. No theory, no speculation.
The most striking features of this mod: - Realistic driving physics (correct tire grip on different surfaces, grip curve, slip angle) - All controllable surfaces have reworked properties - Realistic off-road driving (Give HUGE off-road areas in GTA V purpose, hill climb, dirt road) - The performance characteristics of each vehicle are perfectly matched to their real counterparts (acceleration curve, top speed, braking, grip, handling characteristics, wheel axle) - Huge improvements for motorcycles - Improvements to other physics (eg allowing ramming into police cars, slightly more realistic PIT maneuver) - Auto brakes have been disabled for every vehicle - Police cars no longer ride like they're on rails, more realistic physics are applied to their vehicles - Ability to increase the deformation of the car
Not included: heavy trucks, helicopters, planes, boats.
Cars to order. This mod was designed specifically for vanilla 3D models. Custom car models have completely different center of gravity and wheelbase. It is impossible to make this mod work with all non-standard cars.
