GAZ-M20 Pickup
GAZ-M-20 "Pobeda" is a Soviet passenger car, mass-produced at the Gorky Automobile Plant in 1946-1958. The factory model index is GAZ-M-20. The first Soviet passenger car with a monocoque body and one of the first in the world to be mass-produced with a completely pontoon-type body - without protruding fenders and their rudiments, running boards and headlights. Separately, it should be said that many taxi companies, car depots and repair plants made various pickups and vans from cars that had exhausted their service life. At the same time, there was no single alteration scheme and therefore there were a huge number of alteration options. Many pickup trucks have been known to be painted chocolate brown. According to some reports, the main reason for this was the desire to hide rust, which almost always appeared on worn-out bodies.
