FusionFix is a collaboration between members of the modding community to make PC ports ofGTA IV andEFLC a little less broken.
Everyone knows that portsGrand Theft Auto IV andEpisodes From Liberty City onPC are not among the most ideal ports. It's really a shame because these games are nothing short of fantastic and they deserve some love.
Features of the first version:
Installation:
hidden text
GTAIV 1.0.8.0 / GTAIV 1.0.8.0 + DLC episodes / GTA EFLC 1.0.3.0
This fix has only been tested with the latest official Games and XLiveLessAddon update and cannot be guaranteed to work without it.
The following installation instructions assume that you already haveXLiveLessAddon or you want to install it. Online game features are not available withXLiveLessAddon .
This requiresASI Loader orXLiveLessAddon .
Unpack the contents of the archive into the ! directory! GTAIV orEFLC .
TBoGT as DLC, note: if you have episodes installed as DLC in your GTAIV folder, you will need to move
Grand Theft Auto IV/TBoGT/pc/models/cdimages/vehicles.img
in
Grand Theft Auto IV/DLC/TBoGT/content/pc/models/cdimages/vehicles.img
BASIC section notes:
HandbrakeCamFix So far I haven't figured out how to fix this. The constant camera movement has also been fixed, because at high fps without this fix it moves too slowly.
AimingZoomFix - Set the value to 1 for the fix to work correctly, so that the sight is like on the XBOX. Set to 2 to enable this feature in IV and TLAD. Set the value to -1 to disable this feature. And a value of 0 disables the fix completely.
In short:

Recoil, clarity and shader bugs have been fixed.
FRAMELIMIT section note:
FpsLimit - Enter the desired value to indicate the number of frames per second you want for the game. Like 30, 45, 60 or more. This will affect the entire gameplay.
CutsceneFpsLimit - Enter the desired value to indicate the number of frames per second you want the game to use for the cutscene only.
ScriptCutsceneFovLimit is the minimum fov value the game can set during scripted cutscenes like this. This prevents the game from increasing the frame rate too much. Since this is not the correct solution to the problem, you can disable it and use the hidden parameterScriptCutsceneFpsLimit , which works the same asCutsceneFpsLimit .
DefaultCameraAngleInTLAD - TLAD uses a different camera angle when riding bikes. This option returns the standard camera rotation angle from GTA IV. On/Off
PedDeathAnimFixFromTBOGT - When you perform a counterattack after dodging in IV & TLAD, the ped plays an additional animation after falling and dying, which does not happen in TBOGT. On/Off
DisableCameraCenteringInCover — See problem 20.
EXPERIMENTAL section notes:
LodShift allows you to move the positions of all LODs in the game to reduce "texture flickering" from models being too close to each other (Z-Fighting). Use values in the range (-0.5, 0.5).
LodForceDistance increases the drawing distance of objects affected by the LodShift option. Set to 1 to enable.
It is not recommended to enable these options, so use them at your own risk.

NOTE ABOUT OFFICIAL GAME PATCHES: This mod is being developed using GTA IV patch 1.0.8.0 and EFLC patch 1.1.3.0 as a reference. Although not provided, it should also work on patch 1.0.7.0 and 1.1.2.0. For older patches, it's mostly trial and error. If you want to test it on older patches, give it a try and let me know how it works.
Other mods that go well with this: XLiveless Addonand ColAccel.
