CMP2GMP - Map Converter
CMP2GMP, or CMP to GMP (Which is a pun in English, meaning "from CMP to GMP").
This tool converts GTA1 maps (.cmp) and bitmaps to GTA2 maps (.gmp). Select the path to the cmp file of the GTA1 map in the top line, and click on "convert" on the right. This will start copying the GTA1 map to the ".gmp" format, i.e. the GTA2 map format. After that, next to the cmp-file will be its version, reformatted in gmp. The finished gmp file will weigh 6 Mb, that is, 20 times more than the original cmp file. You can optimize (that is, reduce) its size using the GMP Optimizer. Optimizer available on our website.
