OpenGTA is an open source implementation of the GTA 1 engine. The goal is to make the original Grand Theft Auto for multiple platforms and add some improvements of our own.
Warning: The license prohibits commercial use to avoid conflict with DMA Design/Rockstar Games and therefore does not meet the definition of open source. The original GTA game files are still required, but can be officially downloaded for free.
There are two versions in the archive: for Windows and for Linux. In addition, the archive contains the source code. If you are a developer, then if you have the necessary libraries, you can transfer OpenGTA to other platforms: MAC OS, Android, etc.
