Editing the paths of police cars is possible with this simple program. Unfortunately, Junction25 didn't get it.
To use this utility, you will need a special build of DOSbox that emulates Windows 3.11, which is available on the site. It would seem that you can run the program through a regular DOSbox ... But NO! Well, to be more precise, you can, but you are unlikely to be ready for dancing with a tambourine ... You will not like prescribing commands.
The Windows3.11 environment provides a comfortable environment for using COPS. Drop the folder with the COPS program into the "DOSbox+Windows3.11" build directory. Preferably in any convenient place in the "Disk_C" folder, located inside the DOSbox-assembly directory. This folder emulates a hard drive. The main thing is that you then find the file in the emulated Windows3.11. Move NYC.cmp, MIAMI.cmp or SANB.cmp (NYC.cmp - Liberty City map, MIAMI.cmp - Vice City, SANB.cmp - San-Andreas) from the game directory to the COPS utility directory. Turn on Windows3.11, in it on the desktop in the Program Manager, open the file manager.
