This is quite a significant project by GTA 1 standards. It was released in 2001 and is the oldest project to bring Russia into GTA in the history of this franchise. The project has been abandoned at version 1.0 since 2004.

A group of Russian modders, likely from Tver, made a commendable contribution.

We are given 8 characters to choose from: Ale][, DjFj, Baby, Sanek, Sup, Boris (could it be the one?!), Ilyukha, and Incognito. Note that they immortalized their photos and nicknames in the characters, except for the last one. The game features only one city - Tver. This is a stripped-down version without music, which reduces the game's size by 310 MB. The modders also tried to create new missions.

System requirements:

This version is for MS-DOS, and if you don't have an old computer running MS-DOS lying around, you can still run the game through DOSBox.

How to install and run:

The game comes as an installer ".exe". The installer runs on modern versions of Windows. Specify the extraction path, and in a minute it will be ready. The game needs to be launched on DOSBox, which supports the keyboard.

In the game directory, there is a GTA.bat file. Create a DOSBox shortcut in the game directory. To start playing, drag the GTA.bat icon onto the DOSBox shortcut. That's it. Each time you launch the game, drag the bat file onto the DOSBox shortcut.

I plan to continue the project and release the game for Windows. I will upload it soon and will keep improving it.

Это довольно крупный проект по меркам GTA 1. Его выпустили в 2001 году, и он является самым старым проектом по переносу России в GTA за всю историю этой франшизы. Проект на данный момент заброшен на стадии 1.0 еще в 2004 году.

Группа русских моддеров, вероятно, из той же Твери, сделала вклад, который достоин похвалы.

Нам дают 8 персонажей на выбор: Ale][, DjFj, Малыш, Санек, Суп, Борис (не уж то тот самый?!), Илюха и инкогнито. Заметьте, что они увековечили свои фотографии и псевдонимы в персонажах, за исключением последнего. В игре лишь один город - Тверь. Как установить и запустить:

Игра находится в виде установщика \".exe\". Установщик запускается на современных версиях Windows. Укажите куда путь распаковки и через минуту она будет готова. А игру нужно запускать на DOSBox, которая поддерживает клавиатуру .

В директории игры есть GTA.bat. Создайте ярлык DOSbox в директории игры. Ну а вот чтобы начать играть, перетащите иконку GTA.bat на ярлык DOSbox. На этом всё. При каждом включении игры перетаскивайте bat-файл на ярлык DOSbox.

Я собираюсь продолжить проект и выпустить игру на Windows. В скором времени я его выложу и буду совершенствовать.
