A little about the Daewoo USAS (USAS) 12: The USAS-12 is an automatic shotgun developed by John Trevor in the late 1980s based on the ideas of another American designer, Maxwell Atchisson, who created the Atchisson Assault Shotgun. USAS-12 uses automation based on the removal of powder gases from the bore with the barrel locked by turning the bolt. Also, like the AAS / AA-12, the plastic buttstock is made hollow so that the bolt group rolls back into it when firing. This solution reduces the rate of fire and reduces recoil. To ensure "double-sidedness" of the sleeve extractor window, as well as cutouts for the cocking handle, there are on both sides of the receiver. The three-position fuse-translator of firing modes is similar to that of the M16 assault rifle. A carrying handle is integrated into the receiver.

Трёхпозиционный предохранитель-переводчик режимов стрельбы аналогичен таковому у автомата M16. В ствольную коробку интегрирована ручка для переноски.
