Greetings again, DYOMers and DYOMers! Today I present to you the second act of The Council project, an interactive cinema that consists of three acts. The following acts are currently available for download:

- The Council. Act 1: Dead Souls - click.

- The Council. Act 2: War and Peace.

Read the description carefully, and also read the sections below for a more comfortable game.

Plot.

June 7, 1989

A few days have passed since the arrival of Louis Degre on the island of Lord Mortimer. The atmosphere at the reception is becoming increasingly tense: relations between France and Germany are on the verge of transition from the cold war to armed conflict, and relations between the guests are increasingly reminiscent of Degre theatrical performances. To help in the search for Harry Degre, Louis' father, French President Francois Mitterrand is sent to the island. Over time, Louis realizes that the disappearance of his father is no coincidence, and the oddities that happen during the presence of guests on the island have a certain pattern. Under such conditions, it becomes almost impossible to keep the situation under control, so Degre hardly manages to maintain a balance between war and peace...

Recommendations from the author.

- Unfortunately, one of the problems of this project is the crash from the game on some of the missions. I recommend saving progress before each mission, as well as memorizing the location of the checkpoint for this mission. Quite problematic in this regard is the mission "Investigation".

- If you get a black screen at the beginning of the mission, press ESC or exit to the desktop and go back to the game - the screen will start.

Helmut Kohl is chancellor of a united Germany. Was invited to a reception and arrived immediately after a letter sent by Lord Mortimer.

Mikhail Gorbachev - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Arrived on the island at the invitation of Lord Mortimer to attend the ongoing meeting.

Приветствую вновь, DYOMеры и DYOMерши! Сегодня я представляю вам второй акт проекта The Council — интерактивного кино, состоящего из трех актов. На данный момент к скачиванию доступны следующие акты:

Внимательно прочтите описание, а также ознакомьтесь с разделами, которые находятся ниже для более комфортной игры.

Сюжет.

7 июня 1989 года.

Проходит несколько дней с момента приезда Луи Дегре на остров лорда Мортимера. Обстановка на приёме становится все более напряженной: отношения между Францией и Германией находятся на грани перехода от холодной войны к вооруженному конфликту, а отношения между гостями всё больше напоминают Дегре театральные постановки. Для помощи в поисках Гарри Дегре, отца Луи, на остров направляется президент Франции — Франсуа Миттеран. В это же время в особняке появляется и Гельмут Коль — канцлер Германии. Со временем Луи понимает, что исчезновение его отца неслучайно, а странности, творящиеся во время присутствия гостей на острове, имеют определенную закономерность. В таких условиях держать ситуацию под контролем становится почти невозможно, поэтому Дегре с трудом удается сохранять баланс между войной и миром...

Рекомендации от автора.

- К сожалению, одной из проблем данного проекта является вылет из игры на некоторых из миссий. Рекомендую сохранять прогресс перед каждой миссией, а также запоминать местонахождение чекпоинта к этой миссии. Достаточно проблемной в этом плане является миссия "Расследование".

- Если в начале миссии у вас появился черный экран, нажмите ESC или выйдите на рабочий стол и зайдите обратно в игру- экран запустится.

Михаил Горбачёв — Генеральный секретарь ЦК КПСС. Прибыл на остров по приглашению лорда Мортимера для участия в проводящимся собрании.
