Note:

This mod-patch was made before the "Mod Loader", but today it can

serve as an alternative. After all, "IMG for mods" is independent of gta-vc.exe

When installed, it affects (lines) default.dat, default.ide, gta-vc.dat

Instead of replacing in these files, add to these:

gta3.img>mods.img

defeult.ide>mods.ide

Weaknesses:

You cannot add cutscenes and player models.
