Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has refuted recent rumors that physical copies of GTA 6 would be delayed after release. In an interview with Variety, he directly stated that the company has no plans to postpone the launch of disc versions of the game.

As a reminder, a week ago insider Graczdari reported that Take-Two was supposedly planning to release GTA 6 initially only in digital format, fearing leaks of the story and gameplay. According to various versions, physical copies were supposed to appear 3-4 weeks after release or even in early 2027. The source referenced the experience with GTA 5, when a store employee leaked the game's map before the official release.

However, the Take-Two CEO has now dispelled these concerns. When asked about delaying physical versions, Zelnick briefly replied: "That's not in our plans." The company also confirmed the release date of November 19, 2026, and announced the start of the marketing campaign this summer. This clearly demonstrates the publisher's confidence in current plans for the game's launch.
