Rumor: Rockstar May Be Preparing to Show GTA 6 Gameplay to Journalists

GTA 6 is currently slated for release on November 19, 2026. So far, Rockstar has only unveiled two trailers and a handful of screenshots, with no full gameplay reveal yet. However, journalists may soon get their first hands-on look at the game.

This information comes from well-known gaming journalist Greg Miller, formerly of IGN. During an episode of Kinda Feudy, he mentioned that his colleague Andy will be working on a GTA 6 preview, adding that he’s already received emails from Rockstar about it, though he didn’t share any further details.

“Andy’s gonna be previewing GTA 6. I got some emails from Rockstar about that, but we’ll leave that for another time,” Miller said.

Since discussions are still in the early stages, it’s unlikely that any non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) have been signed yet, which explains why the topic was mentioned publicly.

By the way, there’s also a recent rumor that the physical release of GTA 6 could arrive later than the digital version.
