Well, yes, well, yes, they confirmed it. It’s so easy to believe in it thoughtlessly. Posting a video of something like a game obtained from a friend of a friend’s cousin of the developer’s son, in order to then delete the account, well, yes.. All this is not AT ALL meant to attract attention turn the camera at a city similar to Santos from GTA5 and say the already obvious information about the lake and the enlarged map. Whether it’s true or not, it doesn’t matter, because you can normally find out everything about the game on the 5th.
No matter what kind of people you are talking about, I would rather take their side, because I don’t really like wasting time reading all sorts of articles and videos with supposedly leaking (or even real) ones. It’s easier to wait for the official presentation and see everything as it should be - from the creators.
Even now, when a lot of secondary information about the game, before its release, becomes true, I still would not trust it to the last.
Was widescreen fix used? On the tenth windows it can work as you like, not the fact that everything will work fine.
If everything is the same anyway, then when you start at the level, try pressing F11 and choosing any resolution you like (you can even use the one that was already there). In theory, it should work smoother after that.
I thought about it, and it is fully realizable. But this is a difficult and time-consuming job. I have not yet fully dealt with this. I was going to tackle this soon, I hope that the palette will not break.
Thanks for your positive feedback, however we are not the original developers. If you have any problems, the original developer of the fix, ThirteenAG, can help. Here's a link to his Github fix page: ThirteenAG github Widescreen's pack
Thank you for your feedback :) I did not think that anyone in our time can sit with such monitors 4: 3. Hmm ... Fps drops ... Various fixes for the game give more or less stable fps, but, of course, this may not work stably for everyone. Most likely Widescreen definitely slows down the game on monitors with 4: 3. I will take into account the request, and repack the game. The wide-format fix will be in the archive separately next to the game folder.
About music: Yes, I was planning to stick one of M. Krug's songs. "Vladimirsky central" or something like that. Now I am preferably doing the finalization of textures, and the finalization of the courtyards and facades of high-rise buildings, so that they are real Russian courtyards. I have postponed the radio for now, the program for editing it has to be searched for on dead sites or saved in a web archive, and changing the format of ordinary mp3 to wav does nothing, the game does not play it, and hangs forever.
Those who come here periodically to look for changes or those who see this project for the first time, information for you: If you unpacked the game from the archive, and it refuses to turn on, showing you an error window, then in the game directory find the exe file with the name "GTAfixer" and enable it. If a small window blinked, then it worked, and try to turn on the game, it should definitely start after that.
I have no idea how a GTA3 remake would look (and any old part from the 1st to San-Andreas), but it would be interesting to watch and try the official remake. Actually, why not.
Well yes. This is a pretty good way to learn English, because the best way to learn a language is to plunge into it, listening to the pronunciation and expressions of real native speakers, rather than in the classroom in any high school. Self-education :)
Here there is a vague understanding of the term "remake" among people ... But maybe the author is still planning to do something else very large-scale. Let's see how things go on.
10 years ago - perhaps, but now - hardly. They have not sold the PC version for many years and, accordingly, have not received money. The classic first part, practically, has overgrown with cobwebs in 23 years.
Well, this development is at an early stage, so far there are no significant differences, although the author clearly does not plan to completely rewrite the game. The main differences at the moment: Openness for development, improved performance (for example, the original game runs at 24-30 fps, and Carnage3D runs at 60 fps). Moreover, the difference between the development and the original is that this project can be run on Linux.
The main goal of the author is to recreate, open for development, a project on Windows and Linux, which allows you to run the same game in a better resolution, new features and functions, with improved image transmission, and that with all this there is no deviation from the canon.
Long abandoned, however, it has interest. It can be fully useful if someone decides to take it up. But in any case, this is at least a good idea, reminding of the existence of such a project.
