Rumor: GTA 6 will likely not allow progress transfer from GTA Online
As it's known, Rockstar Games will show the first trailer for GTA 6 next month. Recently, a rumor surfaced online suggesting that it will most likely be impossible to transfer characters and progress from GTA Online to this game.

I’ve heard through the grapevine that next year Rockstar will be utilising their FiveM acquisition so that may have a part in the next GTAOnline. As a reminder, this year Rockstar Games acquired the Cfx.re team, creators of the FiveM and RedM modifications, which allow playing on dedicated servers. Additionally, it was recently reported that Take-Two plans to monetize RP servers created based on these platforms.
