GTA 6 is Officially in Development for the 'Past Few Years'
Rockstar Games informed the fans of the Red Dead Online why the game lacks new content. The studio officially worked for next Grand Theft Auto for a few years. A big summer update of GTA Online is also in works.
Over the past few years, we have been steadily moving more development resources towards the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series — understanding more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be — and as a result, we are in the process of making some changes to how we support Red Dead Online.
Rockstar also shared the details of the upcoming GTA Online summer update, which will be released in a few weeks. The addition will expand the available Criminal Careers. The update will present a set of Contact Missions where a player will be took a role of a special IAA field operative to investigate a budding criminal conspiracy. And most importantly, the Oppressor MK2 will be finally nerfed.
Red Dead Online will get some updates to existing modes and add new Telegram Missions this year without delivering major themed content updates.
