This modification completely replaces KCHAT with a full-fledged music radio station featuring 30 legendary hits from the 70s and 80s — from the Bee Gees and ABBA to Donna Summer and CHIC. It's the perfect choice for those who want to add the atmosphere of vibrant dance parties, nightclubs, and iconic disco sounds to the world of Vice City. The radio is integrated into the game as if it had always been part of the original soundtrack.
Installation:
- Copy and paste the KCHAT.adf file into the Audio folder in the game directory.
- To set a thumbnail (radio icon), use TXD Editor — open the file frontend2.txd in the models folder, replace the original image with kchat.png and save.
- You can also change the name of the radio station using GXT Editor — open the file american.gxt, find the line with the ID FEA_FM2, double-click on it, change the text, and save the file.
