Vapid Chino is a car from the GTA universe, whose design is inspired by classic American cars from the 1960s. Its side profile closely resembles the 1962 Lincoln Continental, with some elements from the 1966 model; the idea of headlights behind the grille might have been inspired by James Hetfield's custom Lincoln Continental – "The Dead Kennedy". The Chino also shows a strong influence from the 1964 Chevrolet Impala, especially in the shape of the grille, front bumper, hood, and roofline. The rear of the car is likely inspired by either the 1963 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Convertible or the 1966 Mercury Monterey.
